Another Evening

I was having a conversation with a friend earlier this week, lamenting about the fact that I can't walk around town in high heels anymore because my pain threshold is embarrassingly low. One of the best feelings in the world is coming home from a long day at work and literally kicking off my high heels. Ahhh...On that note, have a wonderful weekend!

P.S. Maybe I just need to find some comfortable shoes? (Easier said than done.)

  1. I've just discovered your blog today, and love it! I totally hear you on reduced pain threshold when it comes for wearing heels. Last weekend, on a rare late night out, I was walking across several blocks in 4.5" heels at 3am, oh the pain! (I usually carry a pair of thongs in my handbag, but that evening hadn't expected to be walking). How does one increase high-heel tolerance?

By the way, I cannot stand high heels either. I love them but unfortunately it's so painful!

Oh no you poor thing, maybe you need to start investing in more wedges (not that tacky cork kind) there are some nice ones out there atm/

  7. In stilettos as we speak, and have been all around town today as well -- what's a girl to do? :)

  8. I can wear high heels—as long as they're platform wedges. Stilettos are beautiful, but they don't offer any support.
