Since starting this blog, I have become amazed by how many fantastic designers there are out there - not just graphic designers but also fashion designers, jewelry designers, artists, architects, etc. There is always someone or something new to celebrate. Sometimes I worry that it is frivolous of me to care so much about good design (which was probably the biggest mental roadblack I have had to overcome in deciding to switch careers) but at the end of the day, there are so many things we have little or no control over and it is comforting to celebrate the beautiful things around us, they uplift us and make life a little easier.
