I just discovered Vogue UK's "Today I'm Wearing" feature where celebs including Daisy Lowe, Alexa Chung and Olivia Palermo showcase their wardrobe for the month.
Some quick illustrations from my Adaptation class...We had to buy a vintage suit and re-work them on the mannequin (like - wearing the jacket as pants and cutting up the trousers into a playsuit), then come up with two designs from the process. I'm working on a streetwear range now...
Our brief for the tailoring individual is to create an outfit in grayscale (black, white, gray), adapting an organic object and an ultra-modern object. I've been researching historical menswear for inspiration. This is Savile Row, London in 1950.
