i find myself at this same design conundrum. admittedly my apt is more rustic/antique overall with modernist conversation pieces. its hard though not to envy those shiny clean lined spaces! :)
Funny you say that because I am the exact same way!! I picked out all of these rustic/vintage furniture pieces for my apartment - but then I keep picking out the polished decor pieces...ugh such a game of tug and war between the two styles :)
I've seen some lovely interiors that mix and match both styles, so I know it can be done! It's just a challenge finding the right balance. How funny, though, I'm tilted more towards rustic too! :)
