Making It Work

Project Runway kicks off its fifth season tonight with a new batch of 16 designers.
Supermodel hostess with the mostest Heidi Klum thinks that the talent pool is even better than last season, in which Christian Siriano walked away as the victor at Bryant Park. According to Ms Klum, "We've got some truly talented, innovative and deeply creative designers this year, and I think it's fair to say, the most diverse - everyone from a rocker chick who mostly works with leather to a more bohemian surfer boy - and everything in between."

The designers will be judged once again by Michael Kors and Nina Garcia, as well as some interesting guests - among them, Diane Von Furstenberg, Apolo Ohno, Rachel Zoe and Brooke Shields. Tim Gunn, Chief Creative Officer at Liz Claiborne, Inc., will reprise his role as the designers' mentor.
