The Photographer's Gallery in London is holding an exhibition entitled "Fashion in the Mirror: Self-Reflection in Fashion Photography" from July 18 - September 14, 2008. It comprises a series of photographs revealing the heartache behind the haute couture. According to the curators, Raphaëlle Stopin and Michel Mallard (who organised the annual International Fashion and Photography Festival in Hyères), the exhibition "[reveals] the fashion industry's secrets and [undermines] its glamorous illusions".
